Licenses are issued by the physician assistant committee established by IC 25-27.5-3-1, administered by the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency, and the rules sit in Title 844 of the Indiana Administrative Code, the Medical Licensing Board of Indiana title. The June 30 even-year expiration, the two year cycle and the NCCPA certification condition were read on the licensing agency's own physician assistant page; the rule text of 844 IAC 2.2-2-3 was confirmed through the Cornell LII mirror because Indiana publishes its administrative code only as PDF files, which were not downloaded. No mandatory subject is recorded: the licensing agency states that on July 1, 2025 the two hour opioid prescribing and opioid abuse continuing education requirement for controlled substance registration expired, and applications after that date do not need it. The collaborative practice agreement required by IC 25-27.5-5-2 is a practice condition, not continuing education, and is not recorded as such.
