Platform overview
What is Credential Network?
Credential Network (CredNet) is the AI-native platform for healthcare credentialing and payer enrollment. We centralize every provider record, document, and verification source in one place, automate the repetitive work, and give providers a portable credential wallet they actually own.
What are the benefits of using CredNet?
Faster onboarding, fewer errors, and continuous compliance. The platform automates expiration tracking, exclusion-list monitoring, and document workflows, and it pulls verification data directly from sources like NPI, OIG, SAM, and state license boards so nothing falls through the cracks.
How is CredNet different from other credentialing solutions?
Three things. We're built API-first to interconnect the data sources that matter. We use AI (CredAssist) to do the actual busywork instead of just storing files. And every provider gets a portable credential wallet (CredWallet) that follows them between employers.
Who is CredNet designed for?
Healthcare organizations of every size, from solo clinics and outpatient practices to multi-state health systems. The platform scales seat-by-seat, so small teams pay for what they use and larger systems get volume pricing.
Why does my organization need credentialing software?
Manual credentialing is slow, expensive, and prone to mistakes that cost real money. CredNet replaces spreadsheets, sticky notes, and legacy software with one secure system that keeps every record current, audit-ready, and accessible from anywhere.
Provider experience
What is the experience like for providers?
Providers manage everything from their phone with CredWallet, our mobile app for clinicians. They upload documents, track credential status in real time, complete tasks pushed from your organization, and share their profile securely whenever they need to.
Can providers manage their own credentialing information?
Yes. Every provider has full access to their own credentials inside CredWallet. They can upload, share, export, and track everything without going through your admin team.
How do providers share credentials with my organization?
Through a secure in-app connection. Once a provider links with your organization, you get instant visibility into their credentialing status and documents. No more chasing forms back and forth.
What happens to a provider's data if they leave my organization?
The provider keeps ownership of their CredWallet profile and can keep using it at their next role. Your organization retains a record of the credentials that were verified while they worked with you, which keeps your audit trail intact.
Do providers need to download an app?
No download required. CredWallet works in any modern mobile browser, so providers can complete their entire profile from their phone without installing anything. Native iOS and Android apps are available for providers who prefer them.
Provider onboarding
What information do I need to onboard a provider?
Just a preferred email address. We send the invitation, the provider creates their profile from any device, and they can upload their credentials whenever it works for them.
What credentials are required to get started?
None up front. Providers can upload everything in one batch, or build their profile incrementally based on the records your organization requests through CredComply.
My password keeps getting rejected. What's wrong?
If your password meets all the listed requirements but you still see "The provided password was found in at least one data breach and is not safe to be used," that password has been compromised in a public breach. Pick a different one. We recommend a long passphrase or output from a password manager.
I can't log in. What should I do?
First, confirm you're using a supported browser (Chrome or Microsoft Edge work best; Safari is not fully supported yet). Then double-check your email and password. If problems persist, clear your browser cache or use the "Forgot password" link to send a reset email. If you're still stuck, contact support.
The platform
Is CredNet cloud-based?
Yes. The entire platform is cloud-hosted with secure access from any device. Both administrators and providers can work from web or mobile interfaces.
What features does CredNet offer to streamline credentialing?
Centralized credential storage, automated alerts, real-time verifications, full provider profiles, document workflows, e-signatures, exclusion monitoring, and compliance dashboards. CredAssist handles the AI-powered work: parsing documents, suggesting memos, running external lookups, and summarizing compliance status.
How does CredNet automate the credentialing process?
License monitoring, credential expiration tracking, task reminders, batched document extraction, and intelligent document routing all run in the background. The goal is for your team to spend time on exceptions and judgment calls, not data entry.
Is CredNet easy to use and mobile-friendly?
Yes. Both the admin product (CredComply) and the provider product (CredWallet) are designed to be usable on day one, with mobile-friendly layouts for phones and tablets.
Which web browsers are supported?
Chrome and Microsoft Edge are fully supported. Firefox works for most use cases. Safari has known compatibility issues we're actively working on.
Security & compliance
Is CredNet secure and HIPAA compliant?
Yes. CredNet is SOC 2 Type II certified and built for HIPAA conformance, with industry-standard encryption, role-based access controls, audit logs, and healthcare-grade data security across the platform. BAA add-ons are available for organizations that need to manage provider PHI.
How does CredNet protect my credentialing data?
Encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access controls, full audit logging, MFA-enforced authentication, and continuous monitoring against security advisories. Only authorized users in your organization can see or edit your records.
Who owns the data stored in CredNet?
Providers and organizations own their data. We never share or sell customer data, and any access for credentialing purposes happens only with the user's explicit consent.
Who can see my uploaded documents?
Your documents are private to you until you share them or connect with an organization. After that, only authorized credentialing staff within the organization can see what you've shared.
Who can view provider data inside my organization?
Only authorized users in your organization. Permissions are role-based, so admins, credentialing staff, and providers each see what they need and nothing more.
Implementation & support
How long does implementation take?
Most teams are live and running their first verifications the same day they sign up. No implementation fees, no provider minimums. Pick your administrators, accept the invite, and start building provider profiles.
What training and onboarding does CredNet provide?
The standard Onboarding package includes up to 10 hours of training and basic implementation support for organizations with 1 to 100 providers. CredNet Academy is an annual subscription with monthly recorded training that keeps your team current as the platform evolves.
What customer support can I expect?
Access to our support team via phone (call/text) or email, plus your own AI assistant (CredAssist) right inside the product for fast answers to platform questions.
What does my IT department need to do?
Almost nothing. CredNet is fully SaaS, accessible via browser or mobile app, with no on-premise install required.
What is the response time for support requests?
Within 24 hours on business days. Most requests are answered same-day.
