Marketing Manager
Build out our marketing function from the ground up: SEO and AEO, paid search, our conference circuit, and thought leadership, working directly with the CEO and sales to reach healthcare credentialing teams.
- Location: Spokane, WA · HybridType: Full-timeCompensation: $75K–105K + equity Posted: September 16, 2026
Credential Network builds the platform healthcare organizations use to keep their providers compliant and revenue-ready. The CredNet Platform is a dashboard that tracks expirables, payer enrollments, and appointments in one place, so credentialing teams stop living in spreadsheets and stop losing revenue to lapsed documents and stalled enrollments.
We're hiring our Marketing Manager: the person who will build out the marketing function here, not inherit one. You'll work shoulder to shoulder with the CEO and the sales team to get the CredNet Platform in front of the credentialing leaders, practice administrators, MSOs, and health systems who need it.
This is a rare blend of a role. Half of it is social: showing up at conferences, building relationships, driving thought leadership, making people want to talk to us. The other half is data driven: keyword strategy, paid search performance, attribution, content that actually ranks and actually converts.
What you'll own
- Search and discoverability. Own our organic strategy end to end, the keyword program, on-page optimization, and making sure CredNet shows up not just in Google results but in the AI answer engines where healthcare buyers increasingly start their research. You'll treat AEO as a first class channel, not an afterthought.
- Domain authority and grassroots campaigns. Earn links, build partnerships, place guest content, and grow our authority in the credentialing space through real relationships rather than purchased shortcuts.
- Paid search and ads. Own Google Ads end to end, keyword selection, budget, creative, landing pages, and the reporting that tells us what to cut and what to double down on.
- The conference circuit. Manage the full events program: which shows we attend, what we bring, how we prep the sales team, and how we follow through afterward. You'll attend a share of these yourself, representing CredNet on the floor and in the hallway conversations that matter.
- Thought leadership. Help our CEO and subject matter experts build a real voice in the space, and shape the content that makes CredNet a name people trust on credentialing, enrollment, and healthcare back office operations.
- Sales partnership. Work directly with sales on the assets, campaigns, and messaging that shorten the path from first touch to signed customer. Marketing here is accountable to pipeline, not to impressions.
What we're looking for
- Demonstrated marketing experience with a portfolio you can share and walk us through in depth. Early to mid-career is welcome. Evidence matters more to us than years.
- A strong understanding of healthcare back office operations: credentialing, payer enrollment, revenue cycle, provider data, or adjacent territory. You should be able to hold a real conversation with a credentialing manager without a glossary.
- Genuinely AI native. You use AI tools daily to move faster and you can show us how, whether that's research, drafting, analysis, or automating the work nobody should be doing by hand.
- Comfort with data. You're fluent in analytics, you build your own reports, and you change course based on what the numbers say.
- Strong social instincts. You're energized by conferences, customer conversations, and building a network inside an industry.
- Initiative and ownership. You see the gap and fill it without waiting to be asked.
- Willingness to travel roughly 20% of the time for conferences and events.
What success looks like
- Measurable movement in organic traffic, keyword rankings, AI answer citations, and domain authority.
- A conference program that produces qualified conversations, not just badge scans.
- Paid campaigns with a clear, defensible cost per qualified lead.
- A marketing function that exists in 12 months because you built it.
What we offer
- Base salary of $75,000 to $105,000, with room to grow as the function and the company grow.
- A meaningful equity stake through stock options.
- Health, vision, and dental insurance.
- Hybrid work: work from home, with set days each week together at our coworking space in Spokane.
- Real ownership. The person who writes the plan runs it and watches the numbers.
How we work
Our culture runs on initiative and ownership. We're not looking for someone to show up, work a list, and check boxes through the day. We're looking for someone who wants to build: to decide what marketing at CredNet should be, make the case for it, and then go do it. We're early stage and high velocity, we give real autonomy early, and we expect people to care about healthcare and the people working inside it.
How to apply
Apply through our application form. No resume needed, we screen on your LinkedIn profile, a cover letter, and two examples of your work. For each example, tell us what you were trying to move, what you did, and what actually happened. We'd rather see one honest campaign with real numbers than a polished deck.
